Virtual Assistant – Administration & Sourcing

We are looking for a Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to our clients while working remotely. We are currently recruiting in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Argentina. All our opportunities are remote (work from home) projects.

A Virtual Assistant can work in different areas performing tasks related to general administration, sales, customer service, research, lead generation, cold calling, bookkeeping, sourcing & recruitment, basic social media, basic graphic design, content writing, and even marketing-related activities, among others. For these projects, we require applicants to be bilingual in English (C1-C2), have a university education (completed or in progress), and have some work experience, showing they can work successfully in a professional environment.

About the role: We are looking for a Sourcing Assistant to support our client’s recruiting team and help place qualified candidates faster.

The Role

  • Helping with the client’s to-do list.
  • Online research.
  • Datamining.
  • Managing their calendar.
  • Managing their email inbox.
  • Providing reminders.
  • Making travel/flight research and reservations.
  • Managing their CRM.
  • Making presentations and documents.

 

This position may include the following tasks as well:

 

  • Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates
  • Interact with professionals on niche platforms, like GitHub and Behance
  • Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements
  • Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates
  • Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles
  • Contact past applicants for new job opportunities
  • Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
  • Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
  • Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
  • Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill

Requirements

The typical profile of a Valatam team member is a bilingual university graduate/student with highly advanced English writing and speaking abilities and a neutral accent (C1-C2). Our members are computer-savvy and proficient with Microsoft programs and Google Suite.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Sourcing Assistant, Sourcer, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management Software
  • Familiarity with social networks, professional sites, and resume databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
  • Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
  • BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field

– Laptop with a webcam & headset (minimum 8GB RAM)

– Stable, reliable power, & internet connection (at least 5 Mbps download speed and 2 Mbps upload speed)

– A backup place of work in case they suffer a power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, Multibam, WiPod, Satellite Internet, etc.)
